Triple-top Demi-lune
The table cleverly serves
both as a card table and a tea table.
The beeswing figured
satinwood frame is raised on cocobolo sabots. The demi-lune top has
a segmented petal arrangement of figured satinwood, outlined by an
inlaid string-line in burgundy red.
Opening the top, a
circular card table is revealed, the edge cross-banded in satinwood
with a traditional wool baize playing surface. The discreet drawer
for cards etc. is opened on a touch latch.
The third layer offers a
tea table presenting the hallmark colour and figure of an expanse of
satinwood.
