In the name of God Amen I William Dobbins of Winchcomb in the County of
Gloucester -----or being of sound mind and understanding do devise and ordain My
Last will and Testament in manner following that is to say I give devise and bequeath
unto Thomas Yardington son of Henry Yardington late of Winchcomb aforesaid
Butcher deceased All that my mesuage or ---ment Closes lands and prossis--- lying
and being in prescott in the said County of Gloucester which I bought of Henry[?] ----
Woodford with all and every of its appurtenances To hold unto the said Thomas
Yardington his heirs and assigns for ever Subject to said charge----- with the
payment of the Sum of fforty pounds apiece to his two brothers and three sisters
within one year[?] after my death to ---- said sum of fforty ponds apiece I hereby
give unto them I Give and devise unto Thomas Yardington of Sudeley[?] in the said
parish of Winchcomb Yeoman[?] and to his heirs and assigns for ever All that my[?]
Close or Inclosed ground lying in the said parish of Winchcombe called ---- ground[?]
Subject to and chargeable with the payment of one hundred and twenty pounds
To be equally divided between him and the said Thomas Yardington and his four children
I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Yardington and his said four children the
aforesaid sum of one hundred and twenty pounds chargeable as aforesaid and the
further sum of eighty pounds to be equally divided between them to be paid within
a year after my death But my will is that in case the said Thomas Yardington of
Sudeley[?] shall neglect or refuse to pay to my E----- hereinafter named the sum of
ffifty pounds due from him on a mortgage of a house and orchard in Winchcomb
aforesaid and the Interest that shall be due for the ------ ------ my said E-----
shall and may pay himself the said sum of ffifty pounds and interest out of the
aforesaid sum of Eighty pounds given to the said Thomas Yardington of Sudeley[?]
and his four children And my further will is that in case either or any of the children
of the said Henry Yardington shall dye before his ---- -- their legacy shall become
------ aforesaid then the legacy of him --- or those dying shall be equally
divided amongst the survivors of them and that in case the said Thomas Yardington
of Sudeley or his said children or any or either of them shall dye before his --- -- their
legacy or legacies shall become payable as aforesaid then the share or legacy of him
--- or them so dying shall be equally divided amongst the survivors of them I give
and bequeath unto David pearson[?]and James pearson[?] the sum of fforty pounds
apiece I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Yardington son of Henry and to his
heirs for ---- my house and malthouse[?] wherein I live with the appertenances[?] I give
unto Susannah wife of Maur--o Harvey and to my godson ffrancis Minett[?] the sums of
Ten pounds apiece I give unto Margaret Baylis the sum of ffive pounds if she
shall live with me at the time of my death All the rest residue and remainder of my
mesuages lands ----------- ---- -------- lying and being in prescott[?] aforesaid
or E------ As also all my goods and chattels --- ------ I give devise and bequeath
unto the said Thomas Yardington son of Henry to hold my said mesuages[?] lands[?]

assignes for ever And I do make the said Thomas Yardington son of Henry Executor of
this my will hereby revoking all other wills by ----------- ----- whereof I have
hereunto sett my hand and seal the sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one
thousand Seven hundred forty and three
