Based on the proportions of an 18th. Century period mahogany example, the design of this piece has been pared down to the essential lines of the original, with the richness of colour and pattern emphasised by the contrast of ebony and burr maple panels. Handles are formed from ebony blocks with antique ivory rods.

The table is 30 ins. high, 34 ins. wide and 18 ins deep at its centre.
