This piece develops Chinese
design elements of in-turned feet, 'giant's arm braces' to the legs and
raised capping pieces. These are combined with a Deco theme, emphasised
by the contrast of Bird's Eye Maple with Santos Rosewood.
The piece is some 50 inches high. The cupboard has two simple adjustable shelves and the eight drawers are made to accommodate A4 size papers.
